TENNIS - Adéla´s Favourite Sport

MY BEGINNINGS

I started to play tennis when I was 6 years old.  It is quite easy sport, but it has got very special rules. Tennis players have to send special yellow balls over the net, but they can’t touch the net. During the game they must be very quiet.

TENIS CLOTHES

I usually don’t wear any special tennis clothes. I often wear a T- shirt and shorts or skirt. Because we play on the special surface, we must wear tennis trainers.

MY TENNIS LESSONS

I have tennis training three times a week in summer and twice a week in winter. I go to tennis lesson to Choceň. It is a little town near my village. I have two trainers. They are very strict but funny too =)

MY TENNIS MATCHES

We can play tennis match every weekend. I don’t like it. I am very nervous before the match. I play the match only in summer.

I joined the Tennis club Vysoké Mýto seven years ago and I like tennis very much!

In tennis, two players or two teams of four players play. You have to hit the ball over the net, with your tennis racket, but you can‘t touch the net. You must be very quiet during the game. You don’t have to wear special tennis clothes, but appropriate is white clothes. Winner is who at least fluffed balls in game.

I go to the Tennis club school twice a week. Before we start, we do warm-up exercises. We play for about an hour. In winter we  play in air-inflated hall.
