Favourite singers / bands

The first topic was MUSIC – means of communication that doesn’t need words. Both the Portuguese and Czech students worked in teams of 3-4 students choosing their favourite singer or music band, gathering the information on them and producing a Power Point presentation. Most of the students focused on the musicians of their country because they wanted to introduce a part of their culture to their partners from Portugal / Czech Republic. So as to respect the copyright, some students wrote to the singers to ask them for the permission to use their photos and/or music and some of them were successful which a great new experience was for them.
