Ice Hockey (by Radka and Anežka)
We don’t play it, but we love it and Radka wants to be an ice hockey referee. She has got a lot of good friends who play it, but they aren’t from Vysoké Mýto. They are from Brno (it’s 120 km from Vysoké Mýto)
RULES
In ice hockey, there are:
- two teams of 6 players (one goal keeper, three full-backs and two attackers)
- three referees (two ground referees and one main referee)
When you want to play it, you must have:
- helmet
- gloves
- hockey stick
- protectors
- ice skates
- puck.
You have to score goals to win, but you can’t hit other players, because you can get some penalty from the main referee (for example unsportsmanlike, keeping team-mate, tripping, charging team-mate, etc)
Our favourite hockey team……is HC Kometa Brno
HC KOMETA BRNO
The first it was dark red star (1953 – 1977)
Then it was ZKL Brno (1977 – 1989)
Then it was Zetor Brno (1989 – 1992)
Then it was KP Brno (1992 – 1994)
And now it is Kometa Brno (1994 – now)

Our favourite Kometa´s players are:
- Alexandr Hylák (goal keeper)
- Přemysl Sedlák (full-back)
- Kamil Brabenec (full-back)
