LEARNING ENGLISH TOGETHER through ICT

CONTRIBUTIONS AND RESULTS

The eTwinning project LEARNING ENGLISH TOGETHER through ICT started in September 2008 and its authors are two European schools: Escola Básica 2,3 de Caldas das Taipas, Guimarães  (Portugal) and Gymnázium Vysoké Mýto (Czech Republic). After the initial exchange of greeting cards and introducing themselves through a series of Power Point presentations, the students worked in teams on agreed topics which are common in the curricula of the English subject in both countries, such as music, sports, food, health and Europe. This way the students have learned a lot of interesting things about their partners. Using ICT tools they have also discovered new ways of learning English and improved their language skills.
